TUITION FEE PROTECTION
Sheffield College can assure you of the security of your international student fee through our compliance with the ESOS Act and associated legislation under the Tuition Protection Scheme (TPS) through the Commonwealth managed fund known as Overseas Student Assurance Fund (OSTF). This fund is for protection of the interest of overseas students who are studying in Australia to ensure that students receive the tuition they pay for, or as a last resort, a refund.
OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection requires all international students (and their dependents) coming to Australia under a Student Visa to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their Student Visas. Failure to have continuous cover can result in your visa being cancelled.
Sheffield offers OSHC product and service platform to students at no added cost. Sheffield assists on-going and students arriving from overseas to study in Australia for the first time to arrange their OSHC. If you have paid your OSHC with your tuition fee, Sheffield will arrange the OSHC cover for you. You will receive your OSHC card on arrival at Sheffield College. You are also free to arrange your OSHC on your own.
